summer wedding

Liz and Brandon's Rose Bank Winery Wedding

People! Liz and Brandon were married at Rose Bank Winery this summer. With cloudy skies looming overhead Liz stayed calm as can be while getting ready for what was planned to be her outdoor ceremony just a few hours later. We kept an eye on the sky as she finished her hair and Brandon got ready just a few minutes down the road with groomsmen and card games to keep them occupied. We traveled over to Tyler State Park together (new favorite pace ever) where the sun made a slight appearance and Liz and Brandon had the sweetest first look! These two are just the greatest examples of joy (if you don't believe me take a look at their engagement session, too - j o y !) We traveled back to Rose Bank where they had the loveliest of ceremonies. You can see Liz's mom tearing up in quite a few photos below - that was a pretty good example of how we were all feeling. Their ceremony was so beautiful, so meaningful. Liz's pinky promise even caused Brandon to shed a few tears! The rest of the day was filled with speeches just amplifying the love that these two have in them, a rain storm (that waited just until we had gotten a couple more portraits in!) and dancing the night away. Liz and Brandon thank you SO much for having me there to capture your beautiful day. Enjoy reliving their day below!

Kelli and Shawn's Rosebank Winery Wedding, Newtown PA

Kelli and Shawn were married at Rosebank Winery in Newtown at the end of May and their day was such a joy to be a part of! In the morning, before heading over to the winery I stopped by the house to capture the girls in their hustle and bustle of getting ready; and Kelli's gorgeous details for the day (can we talk about her stunning jewelry - or how about those Badgley Mischka sandals? I was definitely in awe). Before we knew it everyone was arriving and getting ready to be a part of these two families becoming one. Right before walking down the aisle Kelli had the sweetest first look with her mom and her girls (see below - this was one of a few times that day I was tearing up behind the camera!) I also just have to note Kelli and her bridesmaids flowers done by The Yellow Daffodil . Aren't they just gorgeous?

Kelli and Shawn joined their two families together beside friends and family at their outdoor ceremony right behind the rustic reception site. Kelli's Dad walked her down the aisle, and at the halfway point her son, Kaden, joined them. I loved the way all three of their boys joined them as they shared vows, such a beautiful moment for this new family! As soon as the ceremony began you could feel all of anticipation of the day melt away to reveal so much joy! The whole ceremony was just so sweet and full of laughs! So in line with who these two are. I love the way Kelli and Shawn love each other - in this incredible sandwich of sweet and sarcastic and silly <3

Following the ceremony the guests headed inside for cocktail hour and were greeted by stunning lights strung everywhere, flowers, and a table full of cakes as we captured sweet family and other photos outside. After dances, the sweetest toast from Kelli's matron of honor (cue the tears pt. 2) and dinner, we snuck out for a few moments of dreamy sunset portraits before Kelli and Shawn partied the night away! When I met with Kelli and Shawn last year they were sure to let me know that it was going to be a party, and oh my, was it! This group definitely goes in the books as one of the craziest bridal parties I have had the pleasure of working with!

Congratulations again, Kelli and Shawn (and Kaden, Brayden, and Nolan!!) Thank you SO much for choosing me to capture the love and laughter of your wedding day <3

Micah and Kayla's Joyful Saint Augustine Wedding

Last month I was in St. Augustine's sunny summer of March getting ready to photograph Kayla and Micah's wedding. And THESE TWO! My goodness. A tiny bit of a backstory: I've known Micah since highschool, when he was rocking an afro and tripp pants (needless to say we've come a long way since then). I first met Kayla for their engagement session at Valley Forge National Park last year and quickly found out that she is one of the sweetest people that exists. Probably ever.

They are the perfect fit! Through and through.

I can't even begin to explain to you have much joy filled this day! From the very beginning of the day we were all in tears. Micah with his mom, Kayla's first look with her dad - some of the most wonderful moments that I had the privilege of being there to experience and capture for them. (I will never stop being in awe of that) And it just kept going throughout the day! There is so much love between these two, their families, and friends. I hope you have so much fun looking through these photos to relive the memories or experience it all for the first time!

Congratulations once more to Mr. and Mrs. Nihart <3 Can't wait until I can come visit you both!

Marisa and George's Tug Hill Winery Wedding

Anticipation and tears and laughter and joy...I don't think there are enough words to describe all of the wonderful emotions and moments on Marisa and George's wedding day! Tug Hill Winery provided the perfect backdrop for this late summer day. Their first look was definitely my favorite - George's reaction to seeing his bride to be had me in tears instantly! (Which happened again as she walked down the aisle to him) Excitement and love just filled every space these two were in; I can't gush enough about these two!! Thank you so much to Jenny Haury for asking me to be a part of capturing this beautiful day!

Kristen and Andrey's Summer Hotel Du Village Wedding

Over the summer I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Kristen and Andrey's wedding day alongside Andrea Tracy Photography at the Hotel Du Village in New Hope, Pennsylvania! Let me tell you, it was nothing short of stunning. The flowers, colors, venue itself; Kristen DIY'd so many details...I was blown away.

More than that, though, was the love shared between these two. Nervous excitement was so apparent in Andrey leading up to their first look; he was so giddy with excitement to finally see his bride! Goodness, those are my favorite things to capture. Never have I met a more silly, carefree couple - during their vows there was a mixture of laughter and happy tears from nearly every person in attendance. Following their ceremony (and the sweetest first kiss) was a Ukranian bread tradition, portraits by the field and a reception FILLED with dancing!

So much joy filled this day and it just filled my heart to be there to help capture it all!

Gina and Justin's Beautiful New Paltz - Eagle's Nest Wedding

There are no words to describe the love these two show for each other - in every glance stolen, every smile received, and each loving embrace.

I had the privilege of photographing Gina and Justin's Wedding this summer. Their ceremony took place in the sweet town of New Paltz, New York at St. Joseph's Church, with the reception being held at The Eagle's Nest in Bloomingburg, New York (such stunning views!)

There were so many special things about their day - from their first look at Gina's favorite willow tree down the street from her childhood home, to their heartfelt ceremony; an anniversary dance ending in her Grandparent's song, and a quiet moment with the newly married Mr. and Mrs. Noia, outside in golden light. Congratulations again, you two! And thank you for inviting me to capture your love - it was such an honor to be a part of your day!!

Zach and Allison's Elegant Outdoor Elizabethtown Wedding

A few short weeks ago I was asked to come alongside Shelia Martin and capture Zach and Allison at Moonstone Manner in Elizabethtown, PA (a venue which absolutely blew me away) as they promised each other forever. They found the perfect balance in creating a wedding which was so classic and elegant, but obviously full of both their personalities, as well!

Walking around capturing candids, the sweetest first look by a gorgeous stone wall, little succulent guest cards (one of which is now growing in my windowsill), were all so lovely to capture! But seeing and being able to document their sweet love - that just filled my heart. These two were so wonderful and it was just such a joy to be a part of photographing their wedding day. Congratulations again to Zach and Allison!

Tyler and Hazley's Bloomsburg Barn Wedding

Driving on that long dirt road and being greeted by the most beautiful red barn, I knew instantly that this was going to be a wonderful wedding! I met Allie inside the classic farmhouse to gush over the beautiful bride's wedding gown and all the details. Not long after, I was sent next door to capture Tyler getting ready.

Tyler's anticipation to see Hazley was just so sweet. He told me about how they met between sigh filled smiles, checking his watch more and more frequently as we came closer to their first look. We made our way out to the quaint wood deck by the pond (so beautiful!) and gave them their sweet moment together. A few portraits and a bus ride later we were at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Bloomsburg.

My eyes watered behind the camera as she walked down the aisle towards him. How could they not when it is so incredibly apparent how much these two love each other!

Back to The Barn at Hidden Acres, toasts were made, cake was cut, and we had a dream of a ten-minute portrait session at sunset in the field!

Hazley and Tyler were such a sweet couple, and I feel so privileged to have been a part of capturing their day!  Allie, thank you so much for having me as your second shooter for this beautiful wedding!
