Chelsea and Chris' Duke Art Gallery Wedding

Let’s talk about this venue for a second. Straight out of a fairytale. Have you been to Duke Art Gallery? If you haven’t been, you need to go, like now. There is no way to describe this space but straight out of a fairytale. From the stone archways to the forest tucked behind it, to the incredible stone turret where Chelsea and Chris got married. Talk about a dream!

Walking into the space where the girls are getting ready always sets the vibe for the day. Opening the door to this hotel room and being greeted by Chelsea’s smiling face, some classic 00’s pop music playing in the background and champagne in custom made glasses for all the girls was the perfect lead in to a joyous wedding day! Finishing touches of hair and makeup followed by all the girls putting on their mismatched taupe dresses (such a unique and great color!) led up to this bride putting on her dress. Let me tell you, that BHLDN wedding dress was just beautiful: lace details and an open back, finished with customized sleeves that were perfect and added such sweet personality! Very much reflective of this bride: so easy going, sweet, and fun! A final cheers and these ladies were headed out to door.

Chris was such a sweet groom, anticipating seeing Chelsea from early on in the day, and you could just see it in his eyes when he turned around to see her for the first time. First looks like this are the best! Photo proof of his beaming face, guaranteed to bring the same smile to your face, it’s just so contagious! We explored the Duke Arts grounds and captured this couple, their bridal party, and family before tucking everyone away as guests arrived via yellow school bus for the ceremony! And soon was their fairytale moment. These two were married in front of their piece of a castle, with the most beautiful greenery surrounding them and their family and friends. Tears and smiles guided them through their ceremony and into cocktail hour where everyone enjoyed some of the best hors d'oeuvres (JAM catering always knocks it out of the park with their food), cocktails, and company. A partly rainy cocktail hour on the lawn was just the beginning of the party! Everyone moved into the art gallery for the reception to begin! Guests were greeted by the art on the walls, greenery and rose centerpieces and a cheese-cake - yes, a cake made of cheese! The music came up and Chelsea and Chris entered with the biggest smiles on their faces, and shared their first dance as husband and wife. Wonderful toasts, sweet parent dances, and an amazing meal later and the dancing began! I never thought I would see a pyramid happen on the dancefloor, and it’s now something I can add to my list of ‘crazy/awesome wedding moments’. Something else that was added to that list this evening? Outdoor late night pizza! S’mores are a classic, and you better believe they happened, too - but the pizza was just next level.

Chelsea and Chris, it was such a joy to be a part of your day! Thank you so much for having me capture this joyous occasion and congratulations one more time! Definitely scroll down to view their wedding day!

Caitlin and Marc's Spring New Hope Estate Wedding | Hotel Du Village | Bucks County Wedding Photographer

Hotel Du Village is one of my favorite places in Bucks County. There is so much elegance and character in this space, which mirrored Caitlin and Marc beautifully! I arrived to the creme bridal suite on a windy day in April. All the girls having their hair and makeup done, a sweet flower girl wandering around the big room and colors popping from the berry colored bridesmaids dresses and blush, burgundy, and green flowers that were just arriving. Caitlin was such a calm bride, just taking in the morning. The guys were not far away, getting ready in their space downstairs. Between the games of foosball, grabbing a drink, and even heading outside for a little bike ride after getting dressed; the day was setting up to be perfect!

And my goodness it was just that, perfect, for these two! April 27th was probably one of the windiest days we will have this year, and it barely seemed to phase this couple. As they headed outside for a first look that brought the biggest smiles (what an incredible joy to capture!), the day got better with each moment! The bridal party braved the wind (and looked amazing in it) and before long guests were arriving. Luckily the wind died down just in time for Caitlin and Marc’s outdoor ceremony. Hotel Du Village has this gorgeous patio space, and the birch tree arch and flowers by Flower Station just completed the space incredibly. As husband and wife these two took a moment to themselves after saying their beautiful vows and sharing a first kiss (something I would highly recommend to every bride and groom to be - the day passes so quickly, give yourselves that moment to breathe together) before heading to cocktail hour and then their reception to celebrate with their family and friends!

I was so thrilled to be able to sneak these two out for a few last light photos before cake cutting and an incredible night of dancing, celebration, and sparklers to end the night! Every time the wind blows through the trees I bet Caitlin and Marc will be reminded of their beautiful, blustery wedding day! What an incredible gift they have been given in that <3

Ashley and Kyle's Backyard Wedding in Havertown

Ashley and Kyle had the most wonderful, relaxed, stylized backyard wedding! From pumpkins all around to the rabbit room (that I had been obsessing over since Ashley showed me photos of the home they would be getting married at), to the beautiful tree which had started turning just for the two of them to be married in front of - I could have photographed this day over and over again! Every where I turned there was something new to discover.

I arrived as Ashley’s hair was being completed; her mother, and soon to be sister and mother-in-law were peeking in so lovingly on the bride getting ready for her day. I whisked away her dress and details across the hall and took full advantage of the unique rooms in this home. Each space provided a perfect backdrop to showcase Ashley’s dress, her lilac Rothy’s (that she customized with the sweetest flowers!) and her headpiece. It as just a joyous and calm morning with these girls getting ready. While Ashley’s father wasn’t there, it was the most wonderful thing that he was, indeed, there in the room, and with her throughout her day.

Just downstairs Kyle arrived and finished getting ready to see his bride! We stepped outside into the perfect fall air where Ashley met Kyle for their first look. The two of them were captured as we walked across the lawn, to the lemon trees and back to the front porch where family eagerly awaited them! Not long after guests begin to arrive, finding their seats in this picturesque backyard. Ashley walked down the aisle, arm in arm with her mom to meet her groom. A sweet ceremony performed by their dear friend made these two one, bride and groom now husband and wife!

Their cocktail hour and reception perfectly bled into one as a fantastic spread of hours devours were replenished throughout the evening, and dinner was passed, tapas style! This should be a thing at more weddings - not only was it a fun change, but the food was just delicious. Ashley and Kyle surprised their guests with a choreographed first dance (the best!) and right after shared a simultaneous mother’s dance (the sweetest).

Their guests enjoyed the company, conversation, and eventually all trickled onto the dance floor. One of many highlights: Time of my Life was requested, and Ashley’s rugby team all took turns being Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray - you know what I’m talking about - photos to prove it below! A top 5 in dance floor moments, for sure! The dancing, eating and enjoying continued on until their sparkler exit which sent everyone straight to the after party. What a terrific day with Mr. and Mrs. Ranshaw <3

Lisa and Joe's Wedding at The Logan Philadelphia

On a beautiful, warm, July day Lisa and Joe were ready to be married! Just a few floors separated them at The Logan in Philadelphia as they simultaneously got ready to see each other. Lisa’s details were all ready when I arrived, from her gorgeous gown to her sparkly Kate Spade dancing shoes. Bouncing back and forth between capturing this and the girls having hair and make up done was so much fun! It wasn’t long before Joe was reading a letter from his sweet to-be bride and Lisa was upstairs, admired by the family and friends surrounding her as she stepped into her gown and began adding the finishing touches to her bridal look. My favorite detail, by far, was her “something blue” - a piece of the blanket she had since she was a small child - pinned inside her dress! The joke was that she would walk down the aisle with that blanket someday; Lisa told me they had to really search to find a piece with some blue on it, and every single person that she shared this detail with just adored it!

We headed down to the courtyard together where Lisa and Joe saw one another for the first time this day, and the last time as fiance’s! I will never tire of the way a groom looks at his bride, especially when it’s just the two of them.

It wasn’t long before we gathered up the bridal party, took some photos, and went on our way to The Philadelphia Museum of Art. From our first consultation (and really, probably one of the first things that Joe mentioned) I was told that getting photos on the Rocky Steps was a huge priority! When you’re just a few blocks away why would you not?? Everyone was such a trooper in that afternoon July heat, and we had lots of fun capturing everyone right there by the Art Museum (and of course with The Rocky Statue! That line definitely moves a lot quicker than I thought it did).

Not long after, Lisa and Joe had the sweetest ceremony. Tears unexpectedly came from the groom and just had everyone else tearing up, as well. Vows, rings - finally husband and wife! Cocktail hour was enjoyed with delicious hors devours and their string quartet serenading everyone in the patio area. The newlyweds snuck into their reception room a little early where Joe was surprised with a personalized groom’s cake, made by the Aunt of the bride! You have to take a look at this cake. The details were incredible, including some of this Wisconsin groom’s favorite things: fishing, the Green Bay Packers, a whole side dedicated to the day these two met (at a halloween party, so naturally the bride and groom in their costumes are the highlight there - guys, it’s the coolest groom’s cake). Their reception was filled with joy and lots of dancing! I was able to sneak these two out and up to the rooftop lounge of The Logan for some sunset portraits overlooking the city. It was party number two up there! With snuggles and celebratory champagne it was a beautiful ending to a wonderful day. What an honor this day was to capture. Congratulations again, Lisa and Joe!!

Jess and David's Cozy Barn on Bridge Winter Wedding | Phoenixville PA Wedding Photographer

On an unbelievably warm January day, opposite directions from one another, Jess and David anticipated walking into The Barn on Bridge for heartfelt, hand written vows and finally becoming husband and wife <3 You may remember these two (and their sweet pup Charlie) from their engagement session this past fall. Jess is one of the sweetest human beings I have ever had the pleasure of knowing (since highschool! What a sweet reunion this has been!) and David just compliments her perfectly! It's obvious they have found their match in one another!

I walked into Jess's parents house Saturday morning to calm chatting and so many smiles as sister and maid of honor Brooke finished curling this bride's hair. Aunts, nieces, cousins, and Mom and Dad all bustling around, getting ready with joy that was already filling every corner! It was just such a calm morning which reflected Jess's personality perfectly. The quiet anxiousness and joy moved over to the Barn on Bridge as Jess stepped into her stunning gown. It still makes my eyes so watery to see the love between Jess and her Mom - such a special bond, what a privilege it is to capture those relationships! In just moments Jess made her way to meet her soon-to-be-husband right outside the bridal suite. The way the sun popped out for their portraits, you would think it was a perfect spring day! These two were so giddy to see each other. Smiles are my favorite, and you know these two had them down =)

A beautiful ceremony, wonderful portraits, and a delicious cocktail hour later (complete with some of the most amazing cheeses from the couples favorite - The Grand Fromage in Skippack, PA) and it was time for dinner, dances, toasts and celebration! Jess and David, you two are such a beautiful couple. Thank you so much for inviting me in to capture your day! Congratulations once more on your marriage!

Stephanie and Tyler's Romantic Ballroom at Ellis Preserve Wedding | Finley Ballroom

Just a few weeks ago Stephanie and Tyler were married at The Ballroom at Ellis Preserve. From the moment Stephanie and Tyler met me for Frozen Yogurt (!!) I knew that documenting their day was going to be nothing short of wonderful. These two have such a sweet love and their wedding day just reflected that so immensely! Stephanie got ready at the ballroom while my lovely second shooter, Allie, met up with the guys at The Radnor Hotel where Tyler got ready for the day. It wasn't long before they were both en route to their ceremony.

Witnessing a groom see his bride for the first time is always such an emotional experience, but these two...I couldn't help but shed a few tears as Tyler saw Stephanie walk towards him. The two had a gorgeous ceremony at Saint Francis of Assisi and were then whisked away back to The Ballroom where we spent all of sunset capturing the new bride and groom. And oh my goodness, the light!! The plan for their day was just perfect for these sunset portraits, and the September sun could not have been any more golden! We soaked up ever last drop of light before heading inside to enjoy a wonderful cocktail hour. The guests were soon ushered into the main dining room, being serenaded by the The Heartbeats (quick side note - if you're in need of a band I can not recommended this group enough!) Stephanie and Tyler surprised their guests with the sweetest choreographed dance (including twirls, lifts, dips, and more!). The night only got better as speeches were given, parent dances brought upon more tears and dinner was served. We snuck outside and took advantage of the stunning columns for a final night portrait and then Stephanie and Tyler danced the night away with friends and family. A dessert bar and sparkler exit completed their day <3 Enjoy taking a peek and reliving their wonderful wedding, and congratulations again Mr. and Mrs. Daviduk!

Jess and David's Peace Valley Park Engagement Session

Jess, David and sweet Charlie met me at Peace Valley Park on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for their autumn engagement session. I met Jess years ago in highschool and her soul has not changed one bit. She has this quiet joy about her that is so contagious - it filled my heart so much to see David share that same quality with her!

We spent a perfect fall day in the woods, small fields and trails at the park leading up to a lake filled with more geese than I've seen in one place! Jess and David just have such an ease about them. Everything was calm as the morning and they just smiled the whole time! Charlie was energetic as anything and didn't want to leave his parents' side our whole session (he's just the cutest pup, don't you think??). Enjoy taking a peek into our day together!

Thank you two so much for allowing me to capture your sweet souls. So looking forward to your wintery wedding in January!

Emily and Joe's Blue Bell Country Club Wedding | Philadelphia Wedding Photographer

Emily and Joe were married this summer at Presentation BVM which was followed by the most wonderful reception at Blue Bell Country Club! It has been such a wonderful thing getting to know these two. From our first meeting last fall to their perfect East Falls Philadelphia engagement session (where I also got to meet their pup, Dixon!) all the way to final meetings and emails leading up to their wedding day finally arriving - there is just such a joy and ease about them. It has been such an honor to capture that.

I began my day at Emily's parents house, capturing her beautiful details (hello to the cutest Kate Spade shoes with bows and Emily's stunning bouquet by Willow & Thistle) while the girls were finishing up at the salon across town and my second shooter Rebecca hung out with Joe and the guys at Normandy Farm. In a matter of moments the girls arrived and the space was filled with laughter, champagne, and anticipation for what the rest of the day would bring! Tears started early as Emily opened up cards and gifts from her sisters and soon-to-be husband, they just kept on coming throughout stepping into her dress and Emily's first look with her girls and her dad. In what felt like moments the relaxed morning was gone and we were heading to the church just down the street.

Joe stood at the altar and watched his bride glide down the aisle, beaming. Everyone was beaming (though I'm pretty sure Joe and Emily's smiles were the brightest). They had a gorgeous ceremony filled with moments and stillness and laughter all leading up to their announcement as the new Mr. and Mrs. Corbett!

The next destination for the newlyweds and their bridal party was Gwynedd Preserve. This is one of my favorite most recent discoveries! The sky was perfectly overcast for portraits and everyone enjoyed a little bit of time before heading to the excitement of cocktail hour and the reception. Soon we were on our way back down the road to the country club where the sky went from cloudy to grey and it began to rain just after everyone made their way inside. Cocktail hour, ceremony details, and a roomful of people later we were on to some of the funniest and most heartfelt speeches I've heard, from Emily's grandfather and the siblings of the bride and groom.

The weather decided to cooperate for us to sneak out for just a few moments before we lost light and we captured a few more portraits of Emily and Joe as husband and wife (these are always my favorite moments, when you have that bit of quiet with your new spouse). From there we went back inside to a night full of dancing! Brian from Cutting Edge Entertainment kept the party going and almost everyone on the dance floor until the end of the night!

Enjoy this peek into Emily and Joe's wedding day! Thank you two for having me and congratulations one last time <3
