Jess and David's Peace Valley Park Engagement Session

Jess, David and sweet Charlie met me at Peace Valley Park on a beautiful Sunday afternoon for their autumn engagement session. I met Jess years ago in highschool and her soul has not changed one bit. She has this quiet joy about her that is so contagious - it filled my heart so much to see David share that same quality with her!

We spent a perfect fall day in the woods, small fields and trails at the park leading up to a lake filled with more geese than I've seen in one place! Jess and David just have such an ease about them. Everything was calm as the morning and they just smiled the whole time! Charlie was energetic as anything and didn't want to leave his parents' side our whole session (he's just the cutest pup, don't you think??). Enjoy taking a peek into our day together!

Thank you two so much for allowing me to capture your sweet souls. So looking forward to your wintery wedding in January!

Samantha and Andrew's Baltimore Engagement Session

I took a trip to Baltimore Maryland and met up with Samantha and Andrew for an evening of exploring and chatting; some snuggles for them and clicking for me - these two did not disappoint! It felt like I was being shown around town by two old friends, despite this being the first time we had actually met in person. From the moment we had our first Skype meeting I knew that this was the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

Samantha and Andrew's love for one another is so real. They're so sweet with each other and you can tell that they are just best friends! We started in Charle's Village where it all began for the two of them, Andrew's old apartment! From there we took a trip to Parts & Labor, a seriously cool auto body shop turned restaurant (I know, right?) and then to Mount Vernon to catch the last bit of sun!

It was the most wonderful thing to get to know these two a bit more and a privilege to capture their love. Samantha and Andrew I am so crazy excited to photograph your wedding in the spring at Accelerator Space (but let's see each other a lot sooner than that, okay?)

Have fun taking a peek into our evening!

Liz and Brandon's Old City Philadelphia Engagement Session

Liz and Brandon met me at sunset at the entrance of Elfreth's Alley (the oldest street in Philadelphia) for their engagement session and allowed me to capture some magic! I absolutely adore how these two are together! They're both so joyful - Liz was just so giddy and laughed the whole session (as you'll find to be abundantly clear through her contagious smile below) and her excitement was paired perfectly by Brandon's warm smiles, giggles caught from her, and this obvious love for one another. We explored this bit of the city, found some beautiful pockets of light, and ended the evening with snuggles on the Market Street Bridge. I can not believe they're getting married in just one month! So thrilled to capture you two at the RoseBank Winery in July as you say 'I do'!!

Tara and Greg's Belmar NJ Engagement Session

Tara and Greg introduced me to the little town of Belmar, New Jersey for their engagement session on a rainy Sunday evening. They both grew up going to this beach (even though they didn't know it until much later in life) and it's one of their favorite spots together! One of my  most favorite things is a sentimental engagement session location <3

Tara had the idea of using beach cruisers which I LOVED! As soon as we put them away the skies decided to open up and give us some rain, making for some perfectly romantic and snuggly umbrella photos (double love!) The sun peeked out for the last bit of the evening as we made our way to the beach (stopping, of course, at the most picturesque lake). It's been a joy getting to know these two so far and I'm so thrilled to capture them when they say 'I do' in the fall!

Ashley & Dexter's French Creek Engagement Session

This sweet couple! I had the privilege of capturing Ashley and Dexter's love at the beautiful French Creek State Park here in Pennsylvania. The way that they look at each other - Dexter's gaze kills me. It is just so apparent that they are so in love! I edited this whole session with a HUGE smile on my face. Thank you so much you two! I absolutely cannot wait to photograph your winter wedding!

Micah & Kayla

In the midst of all of these overcast days, I had the privilege of capturing Micah and Kayla's warm joy, laughter, and abundant love for one another the other week. We walked around Valley Forge National Park and found some of the sweetest scenes (hello log cabins and open grassy green fields!) to serve as a backdrop for these two. It's so clear how much they love one another; they definitely made my job easy! Listening to the story of how Micah proposed was so wonderful. It was just the best getting to know these two as a couple.

Congratulations Micah and Kayla! Thank you for allowing me to capture your love.

Kelly & Justin are Engaged!

This girl means the world to me. Kelly and I have been friends since 6th grade; we've seen each other grow, struggle and succeed in these very beginning stages of adulthood, been listening ears and shoulders to cry on (no matter the distance), and I have seen her fall in love with Justin.

I can't even begin to tell you how perfect these two are for each other! They have matching sassiness, the same crazy amazing sense of humor, and such an understanding and love for one another that you can just feel being around them.

When we first talked about an engagement session there was TONS of excitement all around! And let me tell you, the session was better than anticipated. We had such a good time at Daniel Boone Homestead talking, laughing, and taking some beautiful portraits.

Happy engagement again to you guys, I can't wait for the wedding!
