Candice's Dreamy Bridal Session

Stunningly beautiful bride, in an open field, with a fresh farmer's market bouquet, and a magical, golden, California sunset. Seriously, this is what dreams are made of.

Candice and I ventured out to Ellwood butterfly preserve in Goleta earlier this summer. It filled my heart and was so surreal to be there making portraits. You see, Ellwood was a go-to location for us when we were attending Brooks Institute, which feels worlds and months away at the same time.
And it was like nothing had changed - we didn't even make it into the wooded area before spotting a patch of light that was just too perfect to pass up! Candice is so effortless in front of the camera, she made my job way too easy. We moved from pockets of light to the open field just as the sun was setting. Could not have asked for a better evening! I absolutely cannot wait for my next trip out to the West Coast; I'm just thrilled to encapsulate this golden light and that moments that happen within it.

Thank you so much my beautiful friend, for allowing me to capture these portraits of you! I hope you and Pasha love them =)

(especially her film work - this girl has some crazy talent!)

Tyler and Hazley's Bloomsburg Barn Wedding

Driving on that long dirt road and being greeted by the most beautiful red barn, I knew instantly that this was going to be a wonderful wedding! I met Allie inside the classic farmhouse to gush over the beautiful bride's wedding gown and all the details. Not long after, I was sent next door to capture Tyler getting ready.

Tyler's anticipation to see Hazley was just so sweet. He told me about how they met between sigh filled smiles, checking his watch more and more frequently as we came closer to their first look. We made our way out to the quaint wood deck by the pond (so beautiful!) and gave them their sweet moment together. A few portraits and a bus ride later we were at Good Shepherd United Methodist Church in Bloomsburg.

My eyes watered behind the camera as she walked down the aisle towards him. How could they not when it is so incredibly apparent how much these two love each other!

Back to The Barn at Hidden Acres, toasts were made, cake was cut, and we had a dream of a ten-minute portrait session at sunset in the field!

Hazley and Tyler were such a sweet couple, and I feel so privileged to have been a part of capturing their day!  Allie, thank you so much for having me as your second shooter for this beautiful wedding!
