Candice’s Dreamy Bridal Session

Stunningly beautiful bride, in an open field, with a fresh farmer’s market bouquet, and a magical, golden, California sunset. Seriously, this is what dreams are made of.

Candice and I ventured out to Ellwood butterfly preserve in Goleta earlier this summer. It filled my heart and was so surreal to be there making portraits. You see, Ellwood was a go-to location for us when we were attending Brooks Institute, which feels worlds and months away at the same time.
And it was like nothing had changed – we didn’t even make it into the wooded area before spotting a patch of light that was just too perfect to pass up! Candice is so effortless in front of the camera, she made my job way too easy. We moved from pockets of light to the open field just as the sun was setting. Could not have asked for a better evening! I absolutely cannot wait for my next trip out to the West Coast; I’m just thrilled to encapsulate this golden light and that moments that happen within it.

Thank you so much my beautiful friend, for allowing me to capture these portraits of you! I hope you and Pasha love them =)

(especially her film work – this girl has some crazy talent!)
